Abraham Wuchters spent most of his career as court painter to Christian IV of Denmark. His work mainly consists of portraits and often bears the inspiration of Van Dyck. Together with Karel van Mander III, Wuchters is considered as the main contributor of the Dutch golden age to the Danish baroque.,
