The train was in service until the 1950s and was renovated by Stockholm-Saltsjöns Museiförening, which is a nonprofit organization who maintains and uses to trains. When they renovated the train in the 2010s they added a coffeeshop to the forward part of the train. The recorded sound is from the whole trafficked route, from start to finish.
