Like other forms of motive power (water, steam), stationary engines used in agriculture only facilitated harvest work in outbuildings. It was not until the introduction of tractors that motorization of work in the fields was possible.

Through the use of a belt pulley, the exhibited stationary engine is capable of driving a threshing machine, trieur, and straw cutter. It is a four-stroke engine using petrol as fuel. It was made in the late 19-th or the early 20-th century on the territory of Austria-Hungary.</pres:description><georss:where xmlns:georss="http://www.georss.org/georss"><gml:Point xmlns:gml="http://www.opengis.net/gml" srsName="SDO:4326"><gml:coordinates cs="," decimal="." ts=" ">14.332657, 45.946456</gml:coordinates></gml:Point></georss:where><pres:context><pres:placeLabel>Slovenia</pres:placeLabel><pres:placeLabel>Bistra pri Vrhniki</pres:placeLabel><pres:placeLabel>Technical Museum of Slovenia</pres:placeLabel><pres:timeLabel>March 03 2014</pres:timeLabel><pres:timeLabel>1820-tal</pres:timeLabel><pres:nameLabel>Arbetets museum</pres:nameLabel></pres:context><pres:references><pres:reference>http://youtu.be/WDGswLHMZ1Y</pres:reference></pres:references><pres:representations><pres:representation format="HTML">http://kulturarvsdata.se/wws/object/html/183</pres:representation><pres:representation format="XML">http://kulturarvsdata.se/wws/object/xml/183</pres:representation><pres:representation format="RDF">http://kulturarvsdata.se/wws/object/rdf/183</pres:representation></pres:representations><pres:organization>Flygvapenmuseum</pres:organization><pres:organizationShort/><pres:service>object</pres:service><pres:buildDate>2021-09-22</pres:buildDate><pres:image><pres:mediaLicense>http://kulturarvsdata.se/resurser/License#by</pres:mediaLicense><pres:byline>Flygvapenmuseum</pres:byline><pres:copyright>Flygvapenmuseum</pres:copyright><pres:motive>Stationary Engine</pres:motive><pres:src type="thumbnail">http://www.soundsofchanges.eu/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/M10100042-204x136.jpg</pres:src><pres:src type="lowres">http://www.soundsofchanges.eu/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/M10100042-300x200.jpg</pres:src><pres:src type="highres">http://www.soundsofchanges.eu/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/M10100042-1880x1008.jpg</pres:src></pres:image></pres:item>
