Ultrasonic Cleaner

The ultrasonic washing is based on high-frequency sound vibrations, which cause strong cavitation in liquid. Microscopic cavitation bubbles implode on the surface of the workpiece removing soils, grease and other contaminants. Ultrasonic generator converts the net frequency into high frequency signal.

This machine FinnSonic M 15 is in use in Jyväskylän Uusiotuote ry, witch is workshop specialised on recycling.
Bike mechanics repair customers bicycles and also they sell functioning bikes that have been assembled from abandoned bikes. The ultrasound washing is used to clean metal bike parts.

This model was bought second hand in 1990's. It was made in Lahti, Finland.
