Från en uppströms belägen damm leds vattnet i en träsump till tre inklädda överfallshjul på byggnadens norra fasad. Hjulen driver knipphammare, spikhamrarna och bälgen.
Dammen, träsumpen, de tre vattenhjulen och byggnadens exteriör och interiör restaurerades 1981.
