Den mask var fotograferad av Alan Lapiner 1976
"The face is a blend of a human face and an animal face. Instead of a mouth it has a snout. Because the snout is open, we can see the tongue. The tongue is made of leather, and is painted in red. The teeth are also visible. The teeth are all from mammals; some of them could be determinated as human, and one is either from a dog or from a fox. Radiographs which were made at SVK show that inside the resin paste there is a human jawbone.
The textile net at the back is attached to the mask by placing it between the mask's uppermost part and a wooden plate. To the net has been fastened locks of human hair, and this gives the appearance of a wig. The net has a hood form, which permitted the mask to be worn while the bearer walked or danced.
