They have all been brought up to appreciate that all people are equal. They have learnt about democracy at school and in their free time. All those times we were forced to play ‘industrialised country’ and ‘developing country’ at school, why did it not get through to them? Why do they find it so easy to move their moral boundaries? Why and how did they come to the notion that they have the right to buy another person? These were questions that I asked myself when I set off to speak with these men.
