Recently there has been published ”a new catalogue of bronze mirrors in Hsä Nai-ch'ang's -: collection, 3 large quarto volumes, Mex.$25.00,"” postage extra. This contains nearly 400 mirrors, against Lo's 160. But'the reproductions are not of photographs, but of ink rubbings, and the process is photo-lithography. One therefore loses much of the mirror's beauty, though the rubbing process makes all design8 stand out more boldly/ We shall be glad to send a copy if wanted.
