Dear Professor Anderson, I received first the two Ordos Bronzes and the Dagger arrived some two or three weeks later, but they are safely installed again in the Bronze Cabinet. Did you receive the book of coloured photographs of Mrs. Christian Holmes! Bronzes? If so, will you kindly give them to H.R.H. The Crown Prince. When H.R.H. was here he went through a number of books I have on Chinese art, and which I have promised to give to him for the Museum, but I am wondering if it were not better to keep all of these things together as they will eventually become the property of H.R.H. and the Museum along with the other things we discussed when Iwas in Stockholm. Owing to the very difficult conditions which exist in regard to exchange and other financial upsets in the U.S.A., I have been practically adding nothing to my collection, but hope to do so in the near future.
