Xou inquire for the price of the bronze collection, photographs of which I sent you -- I wish to explain that this collection was brought to me from Shenghal by a friend of mine. The former price he was asking for this collection was $15,000 - the pieces as you know are unusually fine and large in size. Since the receipt of your letter, however, I have had a long discussion with him and he jen has agreed on the lowest price of $8,000,, which I deem a reasonable One. I am wondering if you may wish me to send you this collection for inspection. If so, I will be very glad to do so.
