I am sorry that due to my continued illhealth my correspondence has been much neglected. I will now try to answer the questions brought up in your 3 letters, But first of all allow me to apologize for the very deplorable delay in sending the photographic copies that we have promised you. The main reason of our temporary relative inefficienecy 1s the fact that our photographer Nr. Lagergren is absent doing his military duty as photographer in the flying corps. In the meantime two of our young ladies, miss de Brun and miss Dahlin have to carry on the photographiec work at the side of several miscellaneous duties. 2 1. Your offer to try to obtain for us photographs of persian art objects, specially the Sasanian silver objects and the Luristan bronzes is mueh welcome. We note with deep gratitude that you have already presented to us a beautiful set of Iuristan photos.Ö287 b 2. Photographs from the British Museum, specially Chinese objects will also be of the highest value. 3, Your offer to procure for us the Burlington Magazine is certainly a very great favour. Because of our limited allowance for book-buying we have nottbeen in a position to subseribe för this excellent but rather expensive art-ljournal., Your kindly promised arrangement will alone make you one of our benefactors.
