Ane tomy Bullding, P.U. Mo C. Dr, Lim, president elect of the Soci cty for 1929-30, is a well-known physiologist, whose contributions to the general field of biology have been much appreciated. His ability as a lecturer always brings a large audience. The lecture is open to both the members and the public. The regular Annual Meeting of the Peking Society of Natural History was held at the Grand Hotel des Wagons Lits on the evening of March 22nå. There were one hundred seven members and guests present for the dinner and a most enioyable evening was spent together. A full account of the evening will be given in the proceetings for the year. The newspapers have also very kinäly already given reports. At the meeting the following resolution; which had been previously adopted by the Meeting of Counci llors, was approved by the general mecting and has now become a part of our by-laws: Resolved that in the'case of nonpayment of dues over a period excecding once ycar, the Society shall not continue to scnd its Bulletins to the åefaulting member, and said memboer- ship shell autometically ccascce at tho end of the curr nt ycar. We hope thet this is not going to mean the äropping of any one from our membership lists, but it will act as a re- minåcr to some who ha&vo allowed their äues to romain unpaid, Possibly you may wish to become a Life Member by making one peay- ment of $75.00 et once time.
