Hultmark, a friend and supporter of this institute, has bought from YXamanaka tne two tig Weil horses which were exhibited in Berlin, catalogue-nimber 278, and he Nas very kindly deposited them Ån this museum, Very unfortunatle he did not consult us before making the arrangement with Yamanaka, otherwise I would have told him about the doubts expressed by Vignier,. When I first saw the horses in Berlin I was very much struck by their size and beauty and felt rather anxious to have the opinion of connoisseurs, When! I came kol to Berlin late in March I met Vignier in the exhibition. With usual vigour he expressed his very positive opinions about things, gopd and bad.
