May I be allowed to mention that the University of London has invited me to deliver a lecture on this subject, and I am now writing them and asking for a similar postponement until the winter of 1928 to 1929, I am also writing to the Swedish Legation in London to ask our Minister to negotiate with you and with the Uni- versity of London to ascertain whether the desired postpone- ment is possible or not. I would like to repeat thet I am extremely anxious to take advantage of the two invitations from your city and to combine tnem under the same date, Consequently, I am prepared to go to London this winter if it is considered absolutely necessary. However, I feel fully convinced that amyear later, when the material has fully studied, I will be able to give a much better representation of my arecheological work in Ohina.
