I expect he will be in Peking in January in connection with the annual meeting of the Geological Society. We have photographed a large number of complete funeral urns to be returned to Peking and the detailed description of the whole material of the Second Period is proceeding so that we expect to send you,in the course of February, one hundred urns. We are now fairly well established in the new research laboratory, and I feel certain that during the coming year the pre- paration of our archeological monographs will make good progress. I will very soon forward to you the new publication estimate prepared by Professor Halle, Professor Wyman and myself.
