With reference to your "Kansu" pot I can only give you my opinion from a hasty look at your photograph and eketch. The specimen looks very doubtful because it does not carry the very strict death pattern. I would ratber advise you to wash it in order to see whether the pigment will come off. 1 did so with fake pots offered to me in Lanchow and they came up quite oleen to the immense delight of the other dealers standing round.
