Miss Teresa Frisch, Northrop House, Smith College, Northampton. Masa. Dear Miss Frisch, From Professor Ingholt I received some time ago your long letter dated June 20th 1946. I havs read it with great pleasure and intersst, and I realize that our views on the early history of the "animal style" agree to a remarkable extent. Please let me know: 1. If your diesertation hag been published - I shoulå like to read 1t, particularly those parts which relate to Russia, Siberia and China. 2. If you have access to our vol.l7 — if not, I wiE send you a copy. 3. Which photos you want from our collection. 4. If you could do me the immensely valuable service to furnish me with some bibliographical data. I know practically nothing of what has been published in America on sarly Ohinese art, archaeolo- gy and history, and also on Siberian topics during the yaars 1939 — - 1946. I mean not only books, but also, and quite particularly, articles in periodicalg. From here it is next to impossibla to trace all these various papers and books, and since you evidently have a thorough knowledge of what has basen published, you might be able to give me, without too much trouble to yourself, a consider- able list of writings as yet unknown to me. Quite particularly</pres:description><pres:content xml:lang="sv">OMS b your bibliography concerning the animal style seems to be complete (in your dissertation?). Please, do not consider me too aggressive in asking you for this help - take no more trouble than is conveni- ent to you. I shall be glad to give you all the assistance I can. With kind regards, Yours sinceråly</pres:content><pres:image><pres:mediaType>image/jpeg</pres:mediaType><pres:src type="thumbnail">https://collections.smvk.se/carlotta-om/web/image/tn/10377676/E1A-19_0185a.jpg</pres:src><pres:src type="lowres">https://collections.smvk.se/carlotta-om/web/image/zoom/10377675/E1A-19_0185a.jpg</pres:src><pres:mediaLicense>http://kulturarvsdata.se/resurser/License#by-nc-nd</pres:mediaLicense><pres:byline xml:lang="sv">Östasiatiska museet</pres:byline><pres:copyright xml:lang="sv">Statens museer för världskultur</pres:copyright></pres:image><pres:image><pres:mediaType>image/jpeg</pres:mediaType><pres:src type="thumbnail">https://collections.smvk.se/carlotta-om/web/image/tn/10377680/E1A-19_0185b.jpg</pres:src><pres:src type="lowres">https://collections.smvk.se/carlotta-om/web/image/zoom/10377679/E1A-19_0185b.jpg</pres:src><pres:mediaLicense>http://kulturarvsdata.se/resurser/License#by-nc-nd</pres:mediaLicense><pres:byline xml:lang="sv">Östasiatiska museet</pres:byline><pres:copyright xml:lang="sv">Statens museer för världskultur</pres:copyright></pres:image><pres:references><pres:reference>http://kulturarvsdata.se/SMVK-OM/arkiv/204098</pres:reference></pres:references><pres:representations><pres:representation format="HTML">http://kulturarvsdata.se/SMVK-OM/arkivdokument/html/513719</pres:representation><pres:representation format="XML">http://kulturarvsdata.se/SMVK-OM/arkivdokument/xml/513719</pres:representation><pres:representation format="RDF">http://kulturarvsdata.se/SMVK-OM/arkivdokument/rdf/513719</pres:representation></pres:representations></pres:item>
