I will go through the proofs of the text, which arrived yeste r- day, before going to Paris at the end of this week,& will send them to Beck to read. I have glimpsed through them, & there seem to be very few alterations to make except thet I heve mig-described one specimen which will mean xewriti rearranging two or three lines near the endå of the paper. I take it you are in no speciel hurry for the proofe of the text. 1 should like to have the proofs of the tables as soon ag it ie convenient to you.
