With regard to the coloured pletes. I think fact + egcellent I am irdined to think thet the same holds of P1.1, though I do not cerry the colours of all these besds 2 ARE have so thought it worth while to compare them bead for bea jer half of them am not here. 4s to Plate 111, the green in No,2 does not, &0 far ac my memory of the årawing goes, seom to me to be quite sufficiently vivid, & I think this holds of the green of Ho.1: I would also ö query, though I know how defective memory is, whether there should not be more blue in the green of Ho.5., However, I am sure you will yourself exemine the colouring of all three plates. On Plate V11l there is an va tion in numbering, & a trans- position of two figures if RES le: not difficult; if it is difficult ”å0o not bother sbout it. Otherwise I have no alterations to make, & the plstes seem sdmirable. P.2.oob I sm poetponing the make-up of Plate XV1l until I hear from you with regerd to Plate Vl. The rather important small bead of which ft have recently obteined the record (British, about 100 B.C.) mast if necessary come in on this plate, though it will not fit > 80 well as on plate V1.
