I have had no answer from you, but through the Chinese Legation here I have learned that we may hope to have the pleasur of seeing you here. I have spoken with H.R.H. the Crown Prince about it, and asked him to propose a suitable date (I wish him to be present, and he 18 extremely interested himself in being present), and since he is a very busy man he gave me already now a date which he could reserve for the purpose. He suggested Wednesday April lith. Would that suit you? I hope to arrive in London next Monday (March 15th) and I shall try at once to come in touch with you, partly in order to settle this question, partly and above all in order to have the great pleasure of making your acquaintance.
