I have delayed acknowledging them in order to be able to give you some definite information in regard to the mishap which occurred to your lovely bronze ko handle. I am glad to tell you now that the Insurance Company has agreed to compensate your Museum - at least to some degree - by the payment of £100. for the damage done to your bronze. The Royal Academy has been very sympathetic, and I did what little I could in the matter.
