Plain shank with oval plate head, large flat central omphalos, incised geometric design. Lower side of head broken off., Cleaning and conservation report. D-nr 16455013, 950108. General condition: dirty with clay and other hard soil deposits. There is a thin, hard, unevenly distributed, dark blue corrosion on surface, which, together with dirt, partially covers the fine surface ornamentation. Part of the surface is covered with softer, medium light green, powdery corrosion. Underneath there is original surface preserved on most of the object as hard, smooth, dark green patina layer. Back side of the pin is more unevenly colored, and dotted with tiny, light green powdery spots, which are not active. Treatment: see MMLur 410: cleaned mechanically with scalpel, small soft rotating bristle and steel brushes, sharpened bamboo stick, under magnification.
