Slightly sloping, rounded shoulders, flat triangular blade, narrow midrib, rectangular - nearly square section.</pres:description><pres:content xml:lang="en">SHM 20563 MMLur 063, Bought by Prof. Ture Arne in Iran in 1932, Deltoid is a basic form in western Persia, Gash at one corner with bent edge. Beige, brown, green on dark brown surface., D-nr 16455013, 8.01.95. General condition and corrosion: Surface is dirty with cement-hard deposits from soil. Underneath there is a rather smooth, dark green patina layer. No obvious active corrosion. Object has been drilled to take sample for metallographic analysis. Conservation treatment: cleaned mechanically with scalpel, small soft rotating bristle and steel brushes, under magnification. Surface lightly waxed with bee's wax using small rotating bristle brush., L. 13.3 cm, L Tang. 5.0 cm, W. 3.3 cm., Exhibition : från kilskrift till ryttarfolk 1996, CF/excavation: Vanden Berghe 1972a, fig 1l: 39 L: 12,5 W: 3,2 L Tang: ca 4,5.
