Engraving, by use of ball-drill and hand held tools, depicting an animal frieze of two quadrupeds (antelopes?) of different size, moving left towards a shrine or temple entrance. The smaller animal (female?) has a rope (?) around its neck, and is followed by the larger (male?). Both animals have long, slightly curved horns sweeping backwards, the horn of the larger animal angles upwards. Head, body and legs are marked by drill holes. Opaque, pale greenish stone.</pres:description><pres:content>NM Ant 2071, Purchased in Baghdad in 1934, by the then Crown Prince (later King Gustaf VI Adolf), by means donated to the Friends of the National Museum, by General Consul Karl Bergsten., Two impressions.
