Comment 2025:
"Persian Literature, Shahnameh Ferdowsi

The Haftkhān of Rostam is one of the most famous stories in Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh. It tells how the hero Rostam undertakes seven extremely difficult and dangerous tasks to rescue King Kay Kavus, who has been captured by demons in Mazandaran. Each labor tests Rostam’s strength, courage, and wisdom, including battles with fierce animals, supernatural beings, and powerful demons. The story highlights Rostam’s heroic qualities and resourcefulness, and it serves as a symbol of perseverance, bravery, and loyalty in Persian literature."</pres:description><pres:content xml:lang="en">BEK 119, Bequest from the Békésy collection, Placerad på ÖM., Östasiatiska museet, målerimagasin, Fotograferas., Margins restored, well preserved., Page L. 35,2 cm., W. 28,2 cm.
