Wide, short, concave, slightly splaying neck. Trefoil mouth. Round, slightly raised handle from rim to shoulder. Dark brown line encircling rim, dark brown eye on either side of mouth. Dark brown band encircling neck-base. Three dark brown, stylised trees with light brown branches on front. Cross ornament (with alternating dark brown and light brown strokes) on either side of shoulder. Dark brown, transverse strokes on handle. Sides of handle painted dark brown. Light buff clay; matt, greenish light buff slip; matt light brown and very dark brown paint.NM Ant 1731, The Pierides Collection. Gift from L.Z.
