Pointed, ovoid body. Wide, straight, slightly splaying neck with thick, flat rim. Horizontal handles on shoulder. Encircling black and brown (formerly red?) bands on body and neck (and inside neck). On shoulder, band of lotus flowers and buds. Above it a thinner band of small lotus buds. On neck a pattern with alternating winged rhombs and lilies, and a geometrical pattern. The patterned band is framed by zigzag lines. Above and below zigzag lines are several thin lines and one broad black band. Black handles.MM Acc 0699, Gift from L. Pierides in 1930., H. 76.0.
