The wire is then wound around the two stems to secure them. At the end of each stem an angular stud has been inserted to imitate an oblique crossection of a stem, which keeps the ends together, forming an almost perfect circle. On each stem 12 groups of two to three leaves, most likely olive leaves, are spaced at intervals of approximately 5 cm givning a total number of 70 leaves. The leaves extend into gold wire, inserted through holes, while some are emerging on the reverse side and finally wound around the stem. 29 hollow berries of gold, varying in size, are attached to the end of small wires, 3 cm i lenght, and entwined in the groups of leaves.</pres:description><pres:content xml:lang="en">MM 1975:011, Deposition from the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities., The percentage of gold is 99%, which is unusual high., Coating on some of the leaves, berries, and on the stems.
