Wide mouth with bevelled, overhanging rim; deep body; rolled-back handles at upper body; lower body tapering to a stem; tall, grooved disc base. Red clay; black glaze, partly misfired to red; added white and yellow paint. A reserved band on inside of rim and one at top; a laurel branch encircles the outside; A: a banquet scene with four men wearing white wreaths, reclining on a bed with patterned pillows; two of them hold drinking cups; the one in the middle embraces a woman seated on the same bed; her skin is white, her chiton is painted in yellow outline; an erote holds a white fillet above the couple; the erote’s skin is also white; in the upper field are two bucrania; in the foreground are two tables with white loafs of bread and fillets hanging down; B: three youths in himatia stand in conversation; area under handles reserved; egg-and- dot-pattern at base of handles; a border of meanders and rectangles containing small, dotted squares beneath figures on both sides.NM Ant 0015, Transferred from Gustaf III:s Museum of Antiquities to the National Museum.
