The final report complement the Interim Report of May 2004. Appendix 1–3 in the Interim report constituting chapters 21, 22 and 27 in Eric Mjöberg’s book Bland Vilda Djur och Folk i Australien (Among Wild Animals and People in Australia), Stockholm: Bonniers 1915, are translated. Passages in the journal written by Cyrus Videll, the taxidermist of the expedition, which relates to the episodes described by Mjöberg is also translated. A comment is added informed by available sources.
The Interim Report concerns mainly the Aboriginal human remains connected to The Swedish Scientific Expedition 1910–11. Since then more Aboriginal human remains have become available for documentation. This is added to the report as Appendix 16 and 17 in its original Swedish form with a comment in English.

As stated in the note Mjöberg’s published account of obtaining skeletal materials differs on occasion considerable from the accounts given in the journals. In fact there is only the first of Cyrus Videll’s two journals that comments on this issue.
As will be made clear from the comments to the translations below there were already on the ship out serious conflicts between Mjöberg and the other expedition members, resulting in that several of the expedition members at different stages left the expedition.
