On behalf of my friend mr. Å. Sjögren, I yesterday sent you by parcel-post two Benin bronze plaques and one bronze head, each well packed in a wooden box. I hope that they will reach you in a good condition. The costs for the freight, paid by the museum, are 16.85 Swedish crowns. I am sorry that these objects leave Sweden but, being engaged in otherways, I can not afford to buy them. Professor and Mrs. Seligman have been in Stockholm for a week and I am very glad to have had this opportunity to make their personal acquaintance.
