FARMAN MOTOR
In 1962, Sten Andersson, a member of the Gothenburg Motor Historical Club, visited the company Göteborgs Bultfabrik Joh. Mustad & Co AB. His research paid off, when he managed to find a box under a workbench. It turned out to conatin an engine from a car, which had been scrapped in the 1930s, formerly owned my Halfdan Mustad. The engine is a ”NF” (Nouvelle Farman) type, number 594, probably manufactured in Spain in 1927. It is largely made of aluminum with cast-in steel cylinder liners. It has 6 cylinders, and a 7-liter displacement,
producing about 100 horsepower. The carburetor is a Zenith 48 K 84. The engine was donated to the Industrial Museum in Gothenburg.
